Hey, I'm Bruce.
I'm a writer.
And I'm glad I found the CryptoDads community.
It's just my speed, with just my kind of people.
When I thought about ways I could contribute to the CryptoDads community, I settled on doing what I do best: writing.
Well, really curating.
There is already a lot happening in this burgeoning CryptoDads metaverse, and I'm sure you've recognized how challenging it can be to keep up with Discord.
So I'll do my best to help with this newsletter, curating all of the essential notes and announcements (plus some other fun stuff too).
One important note before I begin:
I'm not affiliated in any official capacity with CryptoDads or the team. I'm just a regular Dad holder who wants to contribute to the growth of the community.
Okay, let's talk CryptoDads ...
Ron Rivers wrote about why CryptoDads are "the future of NFTs."
Ron discloses that he's a CryptoDads investor and Dad holder, so take that for what it's worth as you read his analysis.
But he also has a wide range of community-building and ecommerce experience to draw from, so it seems unlikely he'd waste his time with an NFT project he didn't believe in strongly.
He makes two excellent points in particular about the CryptoDads community that suggest long-term success.
One is about the authenticity of the community feeling inside of the CryptoDads Discord. (This is what immediately drew me in to the project too.)
Another is about the connection holders are making with their Dads, which suggests more long-term holding and less quick flipping:
And he goes on to discuss why the current roadmap sets CryptoDads up for long-term success in the nascent but rapidly expanding metaverse.
Read: Why CryptoDads are the Future of NFTs
You probably saw the exciting roadmap the founders posted in Discord.
There is so much to get excited about, including a bunch of stuff we knew already:
But there were two new notes that really set The Cave aflame:
The upside of that latter note is obviously enormous.
It really sinks when you recognize that holding a Dad means you also hold the IP rights to your Dad. So if the show goes through, any Dads featured in the show would earn royalties.
The roadmap is incredible, and a big reason why the floor on OpenSea continues to steadily rise.
Now let's round up some other important news and notes ...
And finally, I'll highlight a Dad that really caught my eye ...
I've been entertained by how Dad holders have branded their Dads based on famous people they resemble.
The most hilarious one so far has been this one, which @FishyTwitch has branded as Bill Clinton:
Spittin' image, if you ask me.
Do you have any suggestions for future Dad Spotlights? Hit reply on this email and let me know.
Let's end with a note short note of fatherly inspiration:
Okay, that's it for this first edition of CryptoDads Chronicle. I hope you found it useful.
If there is a decent response, I'll look forward to doing more of these in the future.
wagmi,
Bruce

Hello friend. It's been a minute since I've had the privilege of being in your inbox. My last email roundup was sent on October 31st, Halloween. Little did I know I wouldn't be sending another until the day before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. And while three-and-a-half weeks really isn't that much time in the grand scheme of things, in the crypto/NFT space that we inhabit, it's actually six eons. (I did the conversion.) Heck, a DAO was formed, raised $40+ million dollars, damn near bought a...
We have big news updates from the founders ... But let's start with the important stuff. From JereCrypto, whose daughter Pearlyn has been in the NICU because of some post-natal issues: Update 11: Thank u for your support everyone especially my fellow #Cryptodads and moms! Baby Pearlyn is out of NICU today and into a normal ward! We can now hold here and be with her. Her mommy is happy. She still has tubes out of her so, some way to go but great progress! Update 12: Baby Pearlyn has been doing...
Let's start with the most important news: an update on JereCrypto's daughter. ICYMI, baby Pearlyn has quite the rough go of it since being minted to ecstatic parents just a few days ago. She's had to spend time in the NICU with abdominal swelling and other issues. Well, I am pleased to report that after a series of decidedly concerning tweets, JereCrypto was finally able to deliver a happy one on Tuesday night: Update 7: Baby Pearlyn woke up today & looked around! The NICU nurses sent us a...
